This 35-year old Victoria BC based non-profit organization focuses on music styles from the 1930's to the present. During the first ten years the band played for dances around Vancouver Island. Since that time the library has progressed to include contemporary Jazz works primarily for the enjoyment of the players and the audience. Packed Monday night gigs in Victoria include 35+ years at Herman's Jazz Club, several years each at the Swiftsure Lounge, Harpo's Night Club, and Millennium Jazz Club.

 The players, by invitation, are professionals and semi-professionals with many years of experience. The band has excellent soloists. Our 2015 Guest Artist was Bobby Shew previous guest artists are Paul Horn (flute), the late Floyd Standifer (trumpet), Walter White (trumpet), and Hugh Fraser (trombone).
